The Shinaka Clan of the Windswept Plateau are wanderers who travel the world, taking in lost dragons and giving them a new place to call home.

Their guardian spirit is powerful and protective, but also benevolent. All dragons who pass his judgement are welcome to enter his domain and meet his clan, whether it is to visit or to find a new home. Those who choose to leave are always welcome to return.

Tales speak of a territory on the Windswept Plateau guarded by a powerful wind spirit. They say this wind spirit traveled across the lands and took dragons with no home under its wing. Hidden away, they now live in harmony, and these new disciples of the wind spirit carry on his duty of giving homeless dragons a home while also collecting more knowledge of the outside world to bring back to their guardian.

Anei is the healer of the Shinaka clan. Any dragons with injuries in the vicinity of the clan's territory, regardless of whether or not they are part of the clan, will come see her to be healed. Her Shadow eyes tend to make most nervous, and the mysterious air around her only adds to that, but her skill in mending injuries and healing the sick tend to make them put those other worries aside.
