Zilas

As a young hatchling he had a reputation around his clan as being one of the most calm hatchlings they’ve seen in a while. This translated into a calming nature as he grew older. Many dragons trusted him with things because of this including: their problems, their finances, and basically anything they could shove onto him. It tired him out emotionally and physically, but he had a hard time setting up boundaries. In response, Zilas took solace in trying to make himself look good on the outside when inside he was just exhausted. This sparked his love for gold and jewelry.

In the midst of this issue came along a young female Nocturne named Evika. She had been apart of their clan for as long as Zilas was, but he never got the chance to really know her. It surprised him upon their first meeting in the marketplace in their clan that when she spoke to him, she didn’t want anything from him. Evika only wanted to know about him and his personality, which made him both shocked and develop a likening to Evika. From that day forth, they were found hanging out together, both each other’s yin and yang, Evika wild and free, Zilas down to earth and reserved.

They both worked together in a small, but respectable trade shop full of Evika’s leftover treasures from her exploring. Again with the yin and yang, Evika got the goods, Zilas took care of the financial books. This connection worked so well that they had two lovely hatchlings together. Many people were confused when the two of them had hatchlings, seeing their yin and yang as something that would never work. But, it does, and it persists to this day. It lead Zilas to a happy and fulfilling life he wouldn’t trade anything for.
