rF7mvan.jpg Steel is the loud and friendly leader of this clan and the younger brother to Mihlos. While the honor of being the leader of the clan was initially reserved for his older brother, Mihlos abandoned the Steel, forcing Steel to take responsibility for the clan.

Steel and his brother grew up in a royal family. However, although Steel's father was the king, his mother was a common woman, making Steel an illegitimate son. Mihlos was adopted from a neighboring kingdom in an effort to forge friendly relations with that particular king.

Eventually, Steel and Mihlos were exiled from their home kingdom by Steel's father. The brothers begin a small clan together, but Mihlos later deserts the clan on a "journey to find his true self". Steel was unable to abandon those who depended on him, and so he took it upon himself to be the clan's leader.

Despite his sense of duty, Steel acts in an unkingly manner. He believes that everyone is a good person and attempts to befriend and recruit everyone he can into the clan. His second-in-command, Okra, is Steel's trusted friend and the real one who maintains the clan by keeping him in check.

It is rumored that he was supposed to be a pearlcatcher and that his soul is a literal potato. Steel has never refuted this claim.
