Rose has long learned the more obvious a Nightmare is, the more likely it is to be caught and destroyed. She hides what she truly is behind the guise of a Sweet Dream to lure unsuspecting Dreamers into her Carnival.
The stories told by Dreamers who managed to escape are far from exaggeration. Rose is a perfectionist who imposes her standards onto all the members in the Big Show. Many members, both Dreamer and Nightmare, hope to have their own performance or position outside of the shows, away from her controlling nature.
