The first thing the visitors to Clan Hisscale see is CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE. Her job is to greet and guide guests. She is the best one for the job because she never sleeps.

Often she bobs her head up and down, presenting her smile. To amuse, she will shake her wings, rattling bones while making exaggerated movements---dancing, she calls it.
Her dry laugh is like the belches of a banshee, but thankfully she rarely vocalizes.
Such occasions often serve to be memorable and to paint the clan in a good light.

Life in a Plague clan is always interesting for CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE--noisy and chaotic--very different from her quiet upbringing in Dragonhome.
There, there was silence, but never here. Those who knew her prior would say she has gone quite mad.
She dresses in outlandish riches--horrors to many removed from the culture. Days are spent trotting about, greeting visitors and friends of the clan.

Additionally, and much to the surprise of visitors, CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE serves as the clan chef. When at work she is often seen preparing corpses--not for burial, but for consumption. Dragon is rarely on the menu, but when it is--her kitchen tends to be very popular.

To reduce the monotony of butchery, various gourmet meals of insects and forged plants for the few, more refined tastes of picky clan-mates are prepared. Ooooo, perhaps the meat could do with a nice roll of minced meal worms and poached scallops with a side of caper dressing?

Nah, they say. You ruin the blood that way, they say.

Very rarely does the clan fully appreciate her professional expertise and she is often caught up hastily boiling half-eaten carcasses in a desperate attempt at a stew before impatient maws aptly demand supper.
Fortunately, the visitors do--their stomachs are quick to warm-up to her as odd as she is.

If I had been drinking any type of liquid when I first visited your clan, I would have spit it out the moment it loaded and I saw CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE. I'm sorry, I just can't get over her... headdress?... head? The layering on her face is just impeccable. She is one huge memorable snapper. (But maybe it helps her blend in with her plague clan?)

First is CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE, what a lovely outfit on her. I usually avoid skins, but the ancient fungus fits very well with the fire apparel. I like how her outfit is layered up (and I haven't seen the goldenslab apparel used much until now). She is definitely eye catching, and her apparel fits in ideally with her story. All in all she's a wonderful plagueling.

With a name like that, it was impossible not to take a better look at her, and holy cow am I glad I did. First off, that apparel. There's so much of it! But some of the things layered the way they are look pretty cool - I didn't think of putting a birds skull headdress with rams horn, but it looks neat. I'm kind of wondering where she got all her stuff. As for her personality.... Wow. I might turn and run if someone like her was trying to show me around. The dancing almost reminds me of the thing peacocks do with their tails Overall an amazing dragon, really a unique character and mildly terrifying.

Now honestly just 10/10, nothing more to say, but it wouldn't be a full review that way. The fact that she greets newcomers to the clan is fantastic because only the truly worthy would stay after that. I find is mildly funny she's a chef too; I'll admit. I didn't expect it. She's honestly the best and she made me smile. Throw on some Sunburst wings and I'd love her even more. I feel like she's get along well with Serotonin. 10/10 dragon. You should be proud.

Honestly, I don't really know how to begin with CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE. I don't know if I should focus on her abundance of headgear, her all-caps name, or the fact that both ice and fire seem to exist simultaneously in her outfit. She's overwhelming and really fun to look at, which, I think, is what you were going for with her. Weirdly enough, even her familiar matches (hard to do when you have so much going on). So, I guess, congratulations! The one appearance-based critique I can give is that I think she deserves some footwear.

As for lore, she's quite a character. Some of the sentences in her bio are a little clunky and awkward, but it kind of adds to the overall effect, in my opinion. I'm actually at a little bit of a loss as to what else to tell you, because her bio feels very complete, and I feel like my usual advice on how to make things "prettier" don't really apply here. Her bio could stand to be coded, but I get the feeling that you prefer to leave it as is.

It gets a little bit more chill after you exit the first page, and it looks like there's a lot of references that I don't understand too!

My lair is legit color coded (lol) so I can't say I prescribe to the Chaos Aesthetic (tm), but you have some pretty dragons too! :)

Though, it looks like you have some flight reps too (even if most of them are Plague instead!). Seriously, there is so much Plague in your lair.

Overall, I approve of your commitment to your craft. Soldier on! :U

The part that talks about killing and eating dragons come off as more humorous then dark so good job with that. I'm kind of morbidly curious to see any children of hers. And terrified. Good bio though YOU DIDN'T WORK IN THE FAMILIAR.

WOW, she is really cool. Even tho she is a busy dragon with lots of apparl it really makes her cool. Plus the art is AMAZING , it really pulls her together and when I first saw her I was meh but then seeing her realistic and in the art really makes me love her--and I'm not a snapper person either--
The apparl choices are cool and I love the flames as it adds to her whole look. She deffently dose not look like a dragon you want to mess with. Plus the layering on her face is 10/10 , it's impeccable and looks like it's one whole mask which is really hard to do on dragons . I'm loveing the uniques in your lair it make some smile.

She is beauty, she is grace. I love her so much! She was the first dragon that I looked at when I clicked into your lair. Like what's not to love? Some may not like the crowded apparel looks, but I certainly love it.

I like how you layered all the head apparel that's on her. I like how the mouth of the Goldslab Headress looks like her mouth, and how birdskull looks over it. I don't know how you did it, but the whole thing looks amazing!

The art in her bio sort of portrays her personality, in my opinion. Again, you did an amazing job with the bio. She seems like a....fun....dragon to be around with. Her dance, her smile, her dry laughs, she seems like a great dragon to be with.

have no clue where to start with CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE, she’s a lot to take in. But I know for certain that she’s got to be the best, the most epic dragon I’ve ever seen and will ever see.

I absolutely love apparel-clustered dragons, I just love the full and complete look. You did an outstanding job layering the headpieces, it looks like it’s all just one piece of apparel. It also appears as if the headpieces are her actual appearance, like there is no Snapper head under it. She’s practically a whole ‘nother breed.

Looking at the first piece of art, she went from oddly adorable to terrifying real quick. And with everything she’s got on, it’s the perfect visual representation of how it’s supposed to look like if all the head apparel were just one piece. The art shows exactly what I see in my imagination.

You’d think she would be some ancient guard of the clan or something, but nope! She greets visitors and cooks.

Dude can I just say I really love your lair?? It's so chaotic and I love it, especially the names, it's going to be real hard to find a couple of favorites.

I've been a fan of CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE for a while now so ofc I'm gonna take the opportunity to gush about her.

The art?? Holy heck??? I don't even have words to describe how much I love it tbh. The layering of her apparel is just amazing, whilst also slightly unsettling, which I assume is what you were going for, if so, it's perfect.
From a simple perusing of her bio, I see you don't get many comments on her lore, which I think is an absolute travesty, as that's by far one of my favorite aspects of her! The way you describe her dance is so vivid & paints a haunting image, the way you describe the clan's hunger for dragon is so casually thrown in, it just adds to the whole chaotic vibe. The simple line "The Plaguebringer keeps tabs on this one." really holds great impact, despite the simplicity of it. She definitely deserve all the attention she receives, she is by far one of my favorite dragons on this site.

Look, there is no way I wouldn't have picked this absolute Queen of a dragon. I have visited your lair before, (because I've seen you on the forums before, don't worry, I'm not a stalker), and every single time I marveled at this beauty. I, in all honesty, do not know where to begin when describing this fabulous dragon. Not only do I like her colors even by themselves, but I also really, really like her apparel. While I tend to prefer less clustered dragons, this is definitely not the case with this marvel. From her intense eyes, to fire that surrounds her, CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE's outfit is perfect.
And have a mentioned how much I adore her lore? Well, I will now, since I'm positively shook at how written her lore is. It's short, but is definitely is sweet, as I had a blast reading it. Love her!

I’m not quite sure how to describe her beautiful smile, other than I’m certain I’ll be seeing it in my sleep, but I have never wanted to meet a dragon more than I want to experience CHOOOOOOOOCoLATE in person! She is the most unique derg I’ve seen on FR so far, and I am living for her. The role of chef fits her so well, 11/10 would eat (or try to eat) a meal prepared by her purely because it’s now become my life’s mission to make her happy. Her art is incredible!
