Ivor

Ivor was the old kingdom's Archivist. He recorded every bit of history of the Kingdom of Shaded Leaves from its rise to its devastating fall. Now he has a much bigger purpose: he must keep his records safe so that no one forgets what used to be and protect them from the Plagueborn king, who would erase all traces of the time before his rule if only he could.

Forrgetting things is a great fear of his as a dragon with a short attention span and bad memory. It eases his mind to know he can just go back and read his archives to remember. But that only stays true as long as he can keep them safe.

He fled the kingdom shortly after the takeover and was accepted into the Heavenly Refuge -- albeit somewhat begrudgingly. Not many of the dragons there liked him because of all their secrets that he knew, but he did earn a small bit of respect for his defiance against the new king. The other escapees agreed that keeping proof of the old kingdom's history would prove useful. That's his main role in the Refuge, but when he's not guarding the archives or writing new ones, he helps educate the hatchlings. He didn't think he'd like working with such young and rambunctious dragons but they've grown on him little by little...he can't help but feel proud when they remember his lessons.
