Arboraceous is not a dragon. Arboraceous is a spirit, an idea, a concept. Her kind were born to wander the aspen forests long before the Lightweaver came into existence. Spirits like Arboraceous take no name before they join a clan. Her kind takes one single dragon form to join a clan, but most tend to revert back to their original form, a wispy apparition wearing only garments for their vanity.

Arboraceous joined the clan wearing the face of a pale Coatl and the name Light. Wearing a face like that, it's no wonder she found her way to the clan's light representative. The Arboraceous clan was aware that one had joined them- only they noticed it a bit late. They tagged the name Arboraceous on a newcomer. But it wasn't hard to ferret out Arboraceous/Light's identity, and the spiral that had held her name conceded gracefully, taking the name Aureate instead.
