As you approach, a thick fog of unease and dread infects your mind and dulls your senses.
The fae before you is coursing with blinding jolts of electricity and surrounded by sparks. Massive crystalline growths rupture from her chest and her skull.
She's not without protection. She wears gloves to protect others. She dons a mask to protect herself.
Ratio is unstable. You can tell. Every moment or two, she'll jolt to the side, or let out a groan of dismay. It's as though she's... Glitching. The elemental powers of every flight seem to be somehow contained within her body and rupturing through her skin.
She is infected with the curse all of Naomi's offspring bear.
As you grow closer, she finally notices you.
"Stay back," she warns, weakly, with dismay in her voice.
She hovers over a plague nest, ripe with eggs. Naomi's descendants.
"There will be more of us," she promises in a soft whisper. You're unsure of who she's speaking to.
