A dusty, half-destroyed 'village' of small lairs lays at the bottom of a well-hidden canyon deep in the Scarred Wasteland. While initially it seems abandoned, upon closer inspection, small signs of life decorate the environment — clean-picked bones that aren't too old, a recently-repaired archway, and the flutter of noxious dust kicked up by beating wings...

When Creep was just an egg, so said her parents, they took her to the Wyrmwound and presented her to their great mother. They said, the Plaguebringer herself touched her nose to the egg and said 'let this world show you the truth of what it holds; no mask, no shadows.'

The mark of this encounter would not be seen until she was hatched. A rift down her side, virulent and never quite healing. A blessing, and a curse. Her parents wrapped her in bandages, kissed her goodbye, and left her. It was too dangerous to keep her around to spread disease to their clanmates.

Alone now, abandoned and afraid, Creep left the wastelands. She ventured across the Tangled Wood, the Viridian Labyrinth and the Sunbeam Ruins, and other elemental lands. She looked for somewhere, anywhere, to become a new home. Each time, she left feeling shunned and unwanted, unused to being in less savage territories and treated with suspicion due to her grotesque appearance and harsh outlook. They chased her from territories and hid their nests from her out of fear.

Eventually she realized the lesson. The world was wrapped up in itself, in pretty paints and silks. The Scarred Wasteland was her home. It was, in her eyes, the only true place—violent, dangerous and harsh, but without the secrets and fears that other territories clung to so fiercely. They would not drive her out here. The wasteland did not have a veneer of beauty or nobility to maintain; no reason to hide itself from her. It was where she belonged. Her travels had taught her that.

Her old lair was empty, abandoned by its former owners and her parents — so she reclaimed it, her and the vagabond followers that had stuck with her throughout her journey. The nameless lair, built and hidden, and Creep watches the comings and goings of it with a fierce love and loyalty.

Despite her unforgiving nature, Creep has nothing but good will towards her inner circle of clanmates. She puts a lot of stock into loyalty and camaraderie, and puts suspicious figures under harsh watch. She loves fiercely, and hates completely — her emotions always present and intense. Even then, she has inherited plague's nature of practicality and preparedness, and runs an economical ship.

There is no room for misuses among her people, no room for waste. Every thing, creature and action must have its place and purpose. She is respected for drive and intelligence, and feared for her determination and will to live.
