One of the first founders of the clan, Nether has worked for years under Matris and Malum's guidance, becomming one of their most valuable herbalists. His work stems from the local flora and fauna that live within the territory of Plaguebringer and Shadowbinder, concocting new forms of medicine and raising hybrid strains of herbs that is used for multiple purposes. Everything from cooking to medication. Most of his work follows alongside Schaedel and his research, providing new strains of herbs and research for his studies. While Schaedel is mostly a hermit, secluding himself from a majority of the clan, Nether has seemingly earned the doctor's trust, being one of the few dragons to have intimate knowledge of his true intent with his research as well as the truth behind Schaedel joining the clan.

Nether's own dwelling can be found within the graveyard, his only other real friend being Corvus, another caretaker of the graves. While Nether tends to the grounds itself, Corvus is the guard that keeps unwanted guests and creatures out. The graveyard is home to the guardian familiars that watch over the hatchlings, though in their downtime, can be found working with Schaedel or Nether and their work. He is one of the three guardian dragons that control the familiars which protect the hatchlings.
