BASIC INFO
Akane has constantly found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, and nothing in her life showed this more than her childhood on the border of the Tangled Wood and the Viridian Labyrinth. Though a proud Nature-born young lady, one with dreams to someday see the world and spread greenery across it, Akane's dreams were dashed when her encounter with a Plague-born clan left her ill and deformed. Due to the mingling of her own element with that of her attackers, Akane's skull now lies exposed, and roses bloom across her head and neck, constantly fluttering off in a mess of petals and leaves. Alongside this, thick, keratinous growths, ones that appear similar to feathers, have started to line her body.

An encounter with Andraste, a healer born of the Light flight, helped to slow the growth, but it wasn't until a Plague dragon, Typhoid, intervened that Akane's condition was made manageable. Now able to live a full, if somewhat difficult life, with her main hindrance being the thick growths and the difficulty they bring to moving her wings and shoulders, Akane functions as a warrior in her clan, using the extraneous scales and claws on her body as a means of shielding herself from greater attacks.
