Cassia, along with her girlfriend, Opal, have joined the dragons of the Hollow. Cassia assists Opal with her duties as the Butterfly Queen of the Spring Court of Faeries.

Cassia and Opal wear rings of the other's colors to symbolize their love: Cassia wearing a pastel spinel ring, Opal a Jade ring.

The pair have made friends with the other Primals that live in Fallen Leaves: Stargazer and her little brother Riverwatcher, Twillight, and Jon. They are also friends with Thayet, who is Jon's mate, and Chrysoprase, who's older brother Titanite was the first Primal born in the clan (and is now exalted.)

Naturally, Plague Priestess Amaris was interested in another female Nature Primal joining Fallen Leaves. After the lack of receptiveness from Stargazer and Twillight, Amaris is desperate for the prophesized Primal.

Of course, Cassia isn't the one Amaris seeks. Cassia even says it's possible Amaris will never find the Primal she seeks, as long as Amaris keeps acting as she does.
