Ultraxion is a calculating Wildclaw from the Southern Icefields. Before joining the Jazara clan, he was a renowned scout around the Snowsquall Tundra, adept in the art of tracking large game, as well as the endurance required to swiftly travel long distances in freezing temperature and viscious weather conditions.
Many question the notion of a Wildclaw with a complexion as dark as his, being an efficient scout in such a snowy environment; however his speciality is in nocturnal hunting and stealth, particularly in the months when the Icefield is engulfed in total darkness, and the sun rarely shows its face on its frozen horizon.
His appearance marks the harsher climate he originated from, with the fur and wool for insulation, as well as his headdress and cowl previously used to buffer the windchill.
The cords and strings on his wings and legs are reminiscent of the materials used for setting up snares in the Icefield for game and long-term scouting missions for his previous clans.
As a scout, he is highly aware of his surrounding, added with his hunting has led to him having an incredible attention to detail.
He is also insatiably curious about new things, and is thus found frequently wandering around the Sunbeam Ruins. It is not unusual for him to be absent from the clan, with him returning and staying for a few days.
He usually brings back various trinkets that he found around the ruins from times long past. They almost always end up adorning his mate, Valiona. Her love for various metalworks and jewellery goes well with Ultraxion's eye for random finds.
This usually results in one altercation or another with Cruor, who, spotting bright and shiny objects, attempts to "acquire" them, resulting in Valiona going into a fury that none but a Fire dragon can match. Most of the other dragons (for their own safety) sit back and observe as an almost comical squabble ensues between all the Wildclaws in the lair:
- Cruor butting heads with Valiona and Ultraxion, Valar and Dohaeris snickering along with Lanathel, who only serves to fuel the quarrel with snide remarks and jabs at either party, Thelj's roaring about the bickering's delay on his architectual work, and Valjeta attempting to calm the situation, but not before bursting into a fury in an attempt to settle the other's tempers.
Overall, Ultraxion has an apparantly cool demeanour, but others know that exterior melts away quick as snow in the sun. His smile and laughter can be as bright a the Ruins in which they inhabit. He absolutely adores playing around with the hatchlings, running around while the young ones hang off his tail and furs.
His first clutch with Valiona had other dragons jesting that he's walking on sunshine; while some of his young have gone off to other clans, curious to know more about the world(as any Light dragon would), his daughter, Asteria has stayed behind has taken to following him out on some of his scouting missions (smaller journeys, for the sake of Valiona's worrying).
