Biography

Snapshot: Quiet, gruff, and without charge, Ruse has chosen to settle with the Frostfound regardless thanks to a deeply set conviction that someday his charge will come to him while here. Either in the shape of a hatchling, or in the a new member to the clan. Lately, he’s even begun to suspect maybe his charge will be some future lair of the clan’s.

Somewhat self conscious about it, he is however very proud of the magnificent beard he sprouts. He spends a great deal of time on it, as he does with most things he finds worthwhile, and is a particularly patient dragon.

Background: Something of a homebody at heart, Ruse didn’t expect his travels to take him as far as they have. The thickset guardian wandered far and wide till he ran into Belladonna as she beat a hasty retreat from her home. He took up with her there, on the road, and escorted her on the way, helping to keep her safe.

He’s asked the oracle several times, about any news of a potential charge, but she has been unusually cagy about it, though she encourages him to follow his instincts. His familiar, the ultimate buttersnake, is named Handsome and was a gift from Belladonna.

Goals: To find his charge and keep them safe.
