Coming from a rich and politically powerful family in The Southern Icefields, Rouge was the eldest of his father’s countless clutches. He had much on his shoulders, some of the most burdensome being the expectation of being a convincing liar, economically bold, and greedy. While he worked hard on his lessons and became a silver-speaker, the lifestyle never suited him. As soon as he became a rightful adult in his family’s traditions, he lied his way right out his home. To this day, he is unsure what became of his father and surviving siblings, but has never wanted to find out.
Following his heart, the first place he wished to explore was beyond the endless snow and ice. He wanted to see the ocean north. He was not disappointed when he discovered a beautiful, secluded island among the waves and made camp, convinced that this was the start of his new home. No other dragon would be able to find him. Contrary to his beliefs, the next morning, he was confronted by an angry Fae. She stated that the island, named Süwon, belonged to her clan and wished for him to leave immediately. He refused, oddly captivated by her blue colors and grace. Using his sly speech, he discovered that she was the only member of her “clan,” and offered his loyalty to her in return for staying on the island. After much debate, she agreed, and eventually fell in love with him and his icy background. Never daring to use his lying abilities to get what he wants, he was the king of the clan and mentor to future fighters. He was married to Neptunica the Fae. |
