~Diamond~
"Dio"
(his name is short for Diamondback, but he prefers the nickname Dio).
The moment Diamond was born, his parents knew he would be a warrior. He obeyed the rules, followed orders, was hardworking; and although he was a bit..blunt and closed off, a bit of a “lone wolf”, he knew how to handle himself in risky situations. His parents thrust him into training at an early age, with strict rules to follow, and the work required a severe perseverance to excel. However, he did, learning the art of war and assassinhood.
A naturally wary individual, Dio prefers to keep to himself, do what needs to be done, and leave. He doesn’t like to waste anything, and has a hard time opening up, which causes him to hide behind a wall of coldness. Although he acts like a loner, he secretly yearns for someone, anyone, to look past the facade, and want to get to know him, the real him. Not the killing machine, but Diamond, as himself.
Because of this, anyone who does win his trust he fiercely protects (to the point of overprotective). He is a gentleman of sorts, as although he won’t be showy in his actions, he will be considerate when he can be, but only to those he thinks deserve it. To lazy “bums”, or to frivolous beings, he only shows contempt, as he doesn’t understand their lifestyle. He is brave, but not foolhardy, although he tends to want to do everything himself, as he is not very good at delegating others for a task. He also prefers logic, and part of his having a hard time opening up is because he’s not the best with conveying his emotions (mainly through words), but he does try. He is also, surprisingly, very patient.
When he opens up (which is a bit hard for him), he shows a surprisingly affectionate side, preferring to show his love and care through actions, rather than words. He is doggedly loyal, and if he makes a promise, he will stick to it, even if it costs him dearly. He has a tender heart deep down, and more things hurt him than he lets on, which is why he tends to hide behind his wall of isolation or coldness.
Anilius is his brother.

The clang of metal against metal. Claws on skin. Teeth on flesh. A warriors spirit never fades, as does loves luscious flame. A wolf without a pack. No, rather, refusing to join one. Companionship was not lacked, however. One is never alone with their thoughts. Blood is all he is known for, terror. A cold facade that wants to melt oh so desperately. An icy wall, cold to the touch, yet holding so much fire inside.
Such fire found a kindle. A dragon that knows not what powers she holds. She might be the one to warm the cold. Such beauty and grace in simple runes, but she knows not her true feelings. His name is a shimmering stone, much like his face- until he sees her. It turns warm, as if the stone melted and forged strong steel, his feelings. A metal so strong all warriors attract towards the cause, even his own kin.
Brothers, two opposites. Yin and yang, yet very much the same. One woman, so lost, yet found by the two. He was so, so close to having her, yet a silver tongued patron came to smother the light. Like sand smothering a fire so bright, yet so ugly. Sand burned into soft stones, yet so beautiful was the brothers feelings, also. The two kin, born from the same mother, yet separate. However, so much the same in attraction. The golden runes on her skin were so lovely. Her wings flittered like nothing they’ve ever seen. Yet, as both grew more fiery, they grew more cold. Kin are not meant to fight, yet destined to. Fire so bright, burning at night, brighter than any star in the sky. Yet, it engulfs them. Fire is lovely, warm; yet it brings destruction, and pain.
