Lone Dragon Mage

B I O G R A P H Y

It is a late night evening, in a cave not far from Snorad Clan's outer border. A dragon is sitting by the entrance, his bright pearly coat gleaming in the full moon's light. Deeper inside, a darker dragon with lavender wings is watching as four eggs crack, one by one revealing small dragons. One of those was darker than the rest, almost invisible in the slight light that did reach them. The only visible thing was his bright eyes. The pearly one padded inside to look at the four little babies.

Weeks had passed since the birth, and Midnight was exploring the outside of the cave for the first time. His siblings were with him, playing chase, with their parents keeping an eye on them. Midnight, however, didn't play with his siblings. He had found a patch of interesting, dark purple flowers. However, when he bit one to bring it to his parents, sharp pain shot through him and he collapsed, only faintly aware of his mother rushing over to him. The last thing he saw before passing out was Arial's worried face. And then the world went black.

Midnight awoke inside a cave, but it was not his home cave. A large, dark blue dragon was looming over him, but when Midnight's eyes opened, the other dragon stepped back. Midnight was confused and afraid as he could not see any of his family members. It was just him and the dark blue Imperial. She stretched out her wings, revealing the blue color came from her facet wings. She looked at Midnight, showing him she helped him get back on his feet. The Imperial introduced herself as Luminous Lapis, a great Dragon Mage from Snorad Clan.

B I O G R A P H Y

The two dragons became close friends after that. Midnight left his family to become Lapis' apprentice and learn magic from her. He gathered all kinds of herbs and items to make remedies and everything he'd need. Sometimes he got to meet Speckled Wine, the healer of Snorad Clan when he came for help, as Lapis was older. The trio became so close one would think they're siblings.

After Midnight had learnt enough, he graduated from being Lapis' apprentice. However, a few days after this, something made his former mentor forget who he is and attack him, leaving him wounded and heartbroken. In fear, he left the Clan's boundaries and tried to find his family again, but to no avail. Midnight flew to the closest swamp he knew and decided to settle down there. The first night he didn't do much except build himself a little den in-between two giant trees and under a hill, covering the entrance with thick vines.

The next day after going outside, however, he saw Swamp, his younger brother, standing by the entrance of the covered den. How did he find it remains a mystery for Midnight, but he can't complain - after travelling so far, he is happy to live with someone he can call family after losing Lapis.

Midnight was once travelling, and he found himself in a deep part of the swamplands he did not recognize. While busy picking up any plants he could use for Swamp's new wound he got from a fight, Midnight himself was attacked by a female Ridgeback. She was carrying the proud look every dragon from Snorad Clan had, however after realizing who she found, she bowed in deep respect. The two parted ways, however they would often meet. One day was the fateful day, but in a good way - the two officially became mates and had Shadow, Frostbite and Xatia. Swamp was happy for both Midnight and Dim, as well as their newfound love for each other and respect for their jobs - Midnight the Mage, and Dim the Defender.
