Calypso is a sailor and messenger (not a spy, thank you, Dawn). She tends to be friendly but doesn't particularly let anybody close to her. Her first mate, Ripple is probably the only one who knows her really well.

Though she tends to deny it she is very fond of Forest, often bringing back books of poetry for her and Dawn, though its harder to tell exactly how those two feel about each other, exasperated amusement is probably best.
