Biography
Name: GreenMauve
Gender: Male
Pronouns: He/Him
Sexuality: Straight(?)
Personality: Loving, shy, hesitant
Bio:
He’s the first son of Damor and RadioactiveCoral. Unlike others in the clan, he was born mute and relies on either humming or motions to communicate. Thanks to his daughter, Ghostly, she’s able to help him talk to others when others still couldn’t understand him.
His muteness led to a tense relationship with his sister, ShadowMint. Mint tried to get him to talk when she believed he was just too shy. And even thought he didn’t need his pearl and threatened to throw it out a couple of times. While he was frightened by his sister’s antics, he tried to give her some benefit of a doubt for not knowing his true condition and how Pearlcatchers work.
That was when he met Pearl, a female Spiral who him and his sister were friends with along with Pearl’s siblings ever since they were hatchlings. He had a crush on Pearl for as long as he can remember. And when her siblings were exalted from the clan, she fell into a state of loneliness when they left. Green was able to comfort her and be by her side when she needed someone. It soon lead her to crush on him too and they soon became mates.
They soon had many children together. However, due to the limited spacing they had, most of their children had to be exalted to have space. While they were happy their children were going to serve their god, the Gladekeeper, they missed their children so much. Then, Ghostly came into the picture. Green had fallen in love with his daughter to the point where he couldn’t bear the thought of her being exalted from the clan.
Pearl tried to convince him to let her be exalted. But Green wasn’t having her leave like her brothers had to. Afterwards, it started to lead the two adrift due to their views on exalting. Pearl thinks it’s the best for her as Green thinks that they just keep replacing their past children and feels guilty about being a part of it. Soon, after a fight, it lead to Pearl exalting herself and leaving Green alone with their daughter. Luckily, his sister was around to help him out. And soon, the relationship between the brother and sister was rekindled.
After the event, Shenzi suggested he find someone who can translate for him since Pearl left who was also his first translator. They soon found a female Coatl named Bootsie. She stayed in the clan to be his translator and even to be a new friend for him. They soon has a short fling that resulted in two girl Pearcatchers named Ooo and Garden. And just like Ghostly, he fell in love with his little girls. However, Bootsie regretted having the fling and wished to leave him, feeling regret in wasting her beauty on a disabled Pearlcatcher. But if she left, that meant no one could understand him. And realizing who she really was, Green wanted her to leave too. But he didn’t see this coming: She took the girls with her. Once again, his heart was broken and it was more damaged than before. Luckily, Ghostly had received lessons from Bootsie on how to understand him and what he’s saying. So bright side is that he still has a translator in the form of his spiraling angel.
But that didn’t mean that his heart was healed. He still felt lonely when his first lover left him and his second lover left with the daughters he loved with his heart. He felt so broken that his pearl even started to show cracks. And in Pearlcatcher culture, that meant his soul was broken too. And he had no way to fix it... For a while.
Until one day, when Ghostly was hanging out with her friends, he ended up letting the father to his daughter’s three friends, MidnightShamrock. Shamrock felt his broken spirit and as someone who cared, wanted to help him. He soon became Green’s meditator and started a friendship with the lonely widow. Green was happy to finally have a friend after so long. He didn’t have to worry about heartbreak since Shamrock was too caring to hurt him. Besides, Shamrock’s also a lonely widow who has his last mate leave him. So it felt good to find someone that could relate. Also since he secretly found him cute when Sham used his tactics to put a smile on his face. It helped him feel more happier than the past months. His pearl even started to heal from the cracks that it suffered. Now, Green was happy again. And it all thanks to a caring Skydancer...
Too bad their girls keep wanting them to go out. I mean, he doesn’t feel that way for him, let alone a male. He doesn’t swing that way... Right?
