Twisting her tail in loops, the grinning spiral deals another hand of cards. Her eyes gleam with anticipation as each player takes their cards. She knows there are hostile glares at her, simply because they know she is a child of the brambles. Although, what can she do when games of luck seem to bend to her will? After all, all gamblers know the casino always wins.
Niko shares the energy of her spiral relatives- and the jest of her shadow lineage. She is endlessly searching for entertainment, and Niko will find it- even at the expense of others. Niko is a very cunning dragon, and her demure act gets her out of most trouble. She has an undeniable charm about her that changes with the dragon she speaks to. If Niko knows anything, it is how to read others, and how to gamble. As she chats, she subtly changes her manner to seem more and more agreeable to others. Like most shadow dragons, she loves to play pranks and generally cause trouble wherever she goes.
Niko hates to be alone, and to be bored. She has an exceptionally keen mind, and she is in the constant search for entertainment. Niko enjoys anything she has to think about- be it puzzles, games of chance, or even holding conversations. She likes people because they are more like a puzzle to her. The game of figuring out just what act to put on, and just what will make them tick. Those who are completely nonreactive scare her.

Niko was born to two travelling mages. The two operated a travelling circus- so Niko traveled the continent with her parents. In doing so, she never really grew attached to one place or another. She still finds it hard to stay in the same place for more than a month.
