Biography
[Jade]
Personality
Jade is a very strong and powerful dragon, but she is often not treated as such because of her smaller size. While the other dragons in her lair don't particularly pick on her, Jade often has to go far out of her way to prove her worth to those around her, and she will almost always go out of her way to do so. Jade originally comes from a den that's traditions and teachings are inherited from Japanese culture, and many of these factors still show in the way she presents herself, and what she wears, but despite initial impressions, there isn't a single dragon who knows her, who would dare to call her "innocent" or "submissive" or any variation thereupon. One time, Abbadon asked her why she didn't just stop wearing her japanese clothes if she wanted to be taken seriously, to which she answered extremely sternly "because I shouldn't have to sacrifice my heritage just to gain respect."
Interest
Jade trains daily with the Vigilant Shield, and while she does not show any interest in actually joining the town guard, she shows great respect to it's members. While training with these dragons, she strives only for physical perfection, and if she is defeated in hand to hand combat, she often will go into intense training for weeks at a time, before she will come back, stronger than ever. The only dragon she has never defeated in combat is Theodore, and while she has come to accept him as the superior warrior, both of them know that it's only a matter of time before she surpasses him.
Jade also has an obsession with carving intricate figures out of different stones with the aid of her claws and teeth. Whenever the Vigilant Shield will go out on raids, or to search the outer rims of the area for unknown threats, Theodore will make a note to look for any interesting or precious stones that he could possibly bring back as a gift to Jade. At any time when she is not training, Jade will be wearing a carved badge somewhere on her person (more often than not, made of jade).
Relations
Whenever she is not training or carving figures in her den, Jade can be found accompanying Abbadon. The two of them are a bit of an odd pairing, with Jade being a hot tempered powerhouse, and Abbadon being a narcissistic mystic, but somehow they are still the best of friends. While they do have arguments quite often, their differences are always put aside before long, with apologies unneeded, and understood nonetheless.
While Jade and Theodore rarely "hang out" in the traditional sense, they still manage to maintain a sturdy friendship. In between their sparring time, and the many hours Theodore tends to spend lightly chatting with Jade as she carves her figures, they have enough time to keep up conversation, without growing tired of one another. When Jade was first seeking solace in the clan, Theodore was the one to invite her to stay, and the first friend she made.
