Osprey is an assassin from the Black Market, and serves even dragons from the Sunlit Runescroll. Her work is deadly and almost always successful, earning her a good pile of money each day. Osprey was trained by the first assassin of the Wishe Clan, who is now gone. However, there was no more left for Osprey to learn from him, and now takes his place in the Black Market. She commonly works with Nightshade and her apprentice, Brilliant, commissioning poisons from them in exchange for her services for free. Osprey sees Nightshade almost as a sister, and her apprentice like a little sister. They formed this bond upon first meeting, when Brilliant had just been apprenticed.

Osprey has been hired to assassinate dragons of all kinds, high-ranked dragons or even the occasional low-life straggler. One of the most notable times she has failed with a task was when she was hired to assassinate Shaybe, the lead warrior of the Sunlit Runescroll. This job left Osprey with a bitter memory, and a permanent reminder. Shaybe is one of the strongest dragons Osprey knows, but they are almost matched in skill. However, the assassin lost an arm to Shaybe, and is now replaced by one of steel. Osprey has decided to not take on another job relating to Shaybe, which may be the best for the rest of the Clan.
