Biography
"Everything here's so sweet, it's like coating your insides with sugar! Now what would happen if we grew sour strawberries? Would they be sickeningly tart or lip-puckeringly sweet?"
A young Pearlcatcher from the breezy Windswept Plateau, Ithosra joined the Amethyst Eyrie when she was still a hatchling. Born to a proud Pearlcatcher and Snapper pair, they soon discovered Ithosra was quite scatterbrained. After emerging from her egg, her parents noticed she had a habit of forgetting or misplacing her pearl. This stressed her father to no end, as he constantly had to remind her to keep it in her hands.
Eventually they chose to leave her in the care of another clan, as they grew more concerned for her safety. Somehow she managed to wander away from the Windswept Plateau to the shoreline of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, where she was picked up by the fast-talking Quickstrike on a snack run for oysters.
Curious, inquisitive, and imaginative--Ithosra experiments with potions and concoctions as a novice alchemist. She has always been a big fan of Baldwin and sees him as the role model for all Pearlcatchers, even if he technically isn't one anymore after the whole 'Bogsneak accident'.
She is good friends with Aesha, Quickstrike, Chrysocolla, and Raizel despite them all being different breeds. The latter gifted her a bag so she could carry her pearl around without leaving it behind somewhere on accident.
