When talking with Qinshi, one knows that somehow, the conversation will become about rocks, gems, dirt, minerals - it always does.
Qinshi has an... obsession (to put it nicely) with minerals and gems. He is a proud collector, and more often than not he's found bartering with merchants from faraway lands, desperate to get his stingy little hands on some rocks. The merchants dread seeing this jet-black little dragon - they know they're in for at least one or two death threats if they don't comply with his terms of trade. He may be small, but he's quite the bully.
Qinshi may be a jerk, but he's not a stupid jerk - he doesn't miss much. He seems to always know what's going on around him, how his neighbors are feeling seems obvious to him. Some say it's magic, but Qinshi doesn't believe in any of that crap - he just has really good eyesight and a photographic memory.
For obvious reasons, many dragons of the Clan think that Qinshi is a weirdo. Having this sort of label really gets under his skin; all Qinshi wants is to make friends who like him for who he is. He hopes to meet others who share his freakish obsession with rocks - even though this might be kind of a lot to ask for.
