Biography

Halestrian “The Wolf” Amadelius
Turian Infiltrator || Mercenary || Clan Heir
Halestrian is the only surviving child of the Amadelius clan’s main household branch; her elder brother was killed in the line of duty, younger brother fallen to childhood disease. Though the clan is large, far more than nearly half still living on Palaven, Halestrian is the heir to her father and mothers’ fortune and title. She has earned the title twice over, three times over if you ask her cousin and best friend Ferrinthus.

After the disappearance of her elder brother, Derithus, and the declaration of his status turning to KIA some months later, Halestrian fractured under the grief and pressure left in his wake. Her mother all but declared her as disowned in the eyes of the Hierarchy, her father’s higher status only just tempering the decision. Instead Halestrian was quietly asked to leave the estate, take another tour of duty that she had long spoke of doing; her father understood, knew she just needed time and space away from an overbearing mother who was also grieving the loss of a second child. Halestrian did leave, but had not intended to take another tour.

Instead she hitched a ride with a mercenary group, small time and intent on trying to do some good away from Heirarchy space. Halestrian was more experienced than the eager upstarts, and when the time to pull themselves together or die came she was who managed to get their small band focused and fighting efficiently. Humans joined the company as they grew, slowly, and one man dubbed her a wolf, much to her and her fellow Turian’s confusion. She never bothered to look up the word until she heard it muttered as she passed some new recruits weeks later, pausing and glancing at them. They had frozen to the spot, Halestrian being one fourth of the leadership at the time, before she shook her head and went on her way.

After learning all she could about this “Wolf” she found that the man had aptly nicknamed her, indeed. She respected the traits that she shared with the Earth mammal, namely being an Alpha of the pack she led into the field each mission passed her way, and keeping them in line to focus on their targets, hunts she could refer to them as. As time passed, Halestrian outright refused to take up the mantle of their organization, liking her place as a team lead and vetting new recruits. Word traveled however, and their organization nearly bellied-up when Eclipse attempted to eliminate them as a rival organization. Halestrian, a human named Donnic and Turian names Gelinis managed to hold their band together, forcing out the fourth head of the organization, a human woman named Liela, after she attempted to accept a payout for inside information. Halestrian shot the woman without giving her a chance to explain, as well as the two Eclipse mercenaries she has been meeting with to hand the data packets to.

Halestrian currently takes many bounty missions that require the capture or killing of Asari, they having had a hand in the disappearance of her brother years prior; the information of Spectre Tela Vasir’s involvement was an outrage when it had been given to her by an emissary of the Shadow Broker. Her anger hasn’t yet to have dissipated, and her usual team knows, and warns any new recruits with them, to let her take out as many enemy Asari as she can get away with. Though she may not be a biotic, The Wolf is a terror on the battlefield with an Arsenal specifically designed to cripple any with biotic abilities, and she uses them with abandon whenever facing the rival aliens in a firefight.
