One leads astray, the other guides to safety. In broad daylight, it is easy to tell which sibling is which: Liang is as dark as the shadow of a wolf's maw, Yue is as bright as the soft lining of clouds at sunset. Once the sun slips below the horizon, however, both brother and sister are indistinguishable from each other. Liang seems to glow with an inner light while Yue brims with an unseen darkness.

Capricious, fickle Yue is as inconstant as the changing moon. It is easy to believe that she misleads rather than guides; she is not a patient individual and her temper is legendary in some circles, making most assume that she'd much rather lead travellers off the beaten path-- they deserve it, don't they, for so foolishly wandering around in a forest this dangerous? In any case, the only other who knows the truth is Liang. She would trust no one else.

Yue may appear to be more open, what with her expressiveness and daring, but her eyes are always unreadable and she never reveals more than necessary as secrets are priceless in this bright, harsh world.
