Despereaux, Watcher of Many Stars



Night had always went on forever in the Starwood Strand, it had seemed to have been that way since The Giants trod upon Sornieth's virgin soils, siring the land most present dragon knew well. It was that eternal night that called so desperately to the young dragon Despereaux, it was the eternal enigma that drove her through the sharp peaks of the Crystalspine Reaches and the borders of that of reality and of magic.

The magic itself had seemed to call out to her, whispering great wonders into her mind— those of great magics and glories long pass. Things that warped and crumbled away her person and allowed prosper a creature far beyond the reaches of before.

She was Despereaux, Watcher of Many Stars. Magic itself was her charge, or so she claimed, and very well so be it. For it was the ancient, warping magics of the lands that had embraced and changed her.
