Biography
From the moment Boreas saw Snow he knew he wanted to be like him. Snow's massive figure and impressive reputation left an impression on the little hatchling. Boreas' dedication to emulating his hero lead to him being the earliest flier in the lair's history.
These days he can be found floating close by Snow's snout or buried in his pack with hatchlings to comfort them during transport.
---
Short Story:
The little hatchling was so tired he could barely blink all 4 eyes at the same time. A shadow passed over him, grabbing his attention and giving him renewed vigor. He bounded after the shadow in an attempt to catch it. The shadow began moving strangely and Boreas looked up to find the source. Beautiful glittering blue wings and pure white scales reflected the sun as the imperial preformed flips and barrel rolls high in the sky. The flashing lights and spectacular twists and curls were hypnotizing, and soon Boreas found himself frantically flapping his wings in an attempt to join the imperial.
His wide eyed stare, excited peeps, and tiny flapping wings did not go unnoticed by his new hero. Snow eventually landed and made his way over to his new admirer. He lowered his snout to get a look at him.
"Don't over do it, friend. You'll hurt yourself flapping your wings like that." His voice was surprisingly gentle for his size. Boreas could barely contain himself and held his wings up high and bounced up and down. He couldn't believe the imperial was talking to HIM! Snow continued, "I'm here to get a look at a new nest of hatchlings. Judging by the description from Mydtox, looks like you're one of them. Let's go find your parents."
----
Boreas kept closing his eyes tight then opening them again, half expecting the imperial to disappear or for it to all be a joke. It wasn't until they were in the plague lands and he was scarfing down newts that it finally sunk in that it was all real.
