Formerly in charge of the clan's menagerie, Arzen was transferred to the task of training new recruits some years ago, after the menagerie grew too large for her skills to manage. Turns out, wrangling intrepid young dragons and taming feral beasts require a lot of the same skills!
Though these days Arzen's priorities have shifted again, and she is mostly preoccupied with acquiring new creatures to stock the menagerie. Like most of the old guard, Arzen has an independent streak about a mile wide, and this often takes her on solitary ventures off into the wilds. One can generally expect her to return every few months or so, often with at least one pathetic creature in tow. Sometimes a new familiar for the menagerie, sometimes a wayward member of one of the beast tribes, or sometimes even a lost dragon looking for a new home.
When at home in the lair, she can generally be found keeping company with her friends, helping to tend some nests, or playing with her own personal familiar, Raft.
