Biography

LancelotStage3Icon.png

Note: Name is Lancelot. Since I own a fandragon of both version of the character from Fate, the names I gave them are used to differentiate them. This Lancelot is based off of the Berserker version. Fandragon based off of the character from Fate. Appears in Fate: Zero and Fate: Grand Order.

  • Doesn't know how to talk.
  • Two main methods of speaking are either low gurgles and grunts are shrill, bloodcurdling screeches and roars.
  • The former is used in 'regular' conversation while the latter is used when fighting.
  • Only violent around Pearlcatchers and Imperials, which he will try and kill out of instinct.
  • Generally calm and obedient otherwise, and is great at taking and following orders. That is, as long as he's not around the previously mentioned species.
  • Intelligence is unknown, as he shows no interest in things such as writing.
  • Most likely clouded in some fashion by the madness that seems to 'possess' him.

  • Wields what can only be described as a corrupt version of the sword Saberlot has.
  • While he certainly holds the same level of skill as Saberlot, he has sacrificed proper technique for brute force.
  • He also uses whatever weapons he can get his claws on to fight with, using magic similar to Saberlot's to enhance them.
  • Able to produce tendrils that he uses to impale both organic and inorganic material.
  • In organic victims, this can be problematic due to Berserkerlot's nature as an amalg.
  • In inorganic material, this allows him to gain control and enhance things that are normally too large for him to wield.

  • Berserkerlot's nature as an amalgamate is what makes him such a deadly opponent.
  • His armor is stuck to his constantly fluid skin, making it impossible to remove, though not impossible to damage.
  • His helmet is divided into two pieces that opens like a mouth for when he eats. The clan is unsure if the helmet is in fact a helmet or an extension of his amalgamate abilities.
  • When his body is struck, spores often pour from the wound.
  • Also likes to produce spores when fighting, which take the form of a dark fog that covers most of his body.
  • Has proven more than capable of defeating and killing other amalgamates, often using his Ice magic to freeze them solid.
  • He also never really tires.
  • However, the more that he fights and the more energy he uses, the more his innate amalgamate hunger gets and the more angry and wild he gets.
  • This means that he can and will devour other dragons as an attacking method should a fight linger.
  • The Fungal Fauna clan took Berserkerlot in due to his generally calm nature. They have since found ways to make sure he doesn't have to interact with or around Imperials and Pearlcatchers.
  • He was put into the role of a roaming guard for the clan soon after to avoid interacting with said species.
  • He's rarely seen inside the lair due to this, but minimal casualties have occurred since he was put in the position.
  • It is important to note that he isn't a scout. Unlike scouts, he will only bring back injured or unconscious dragons he finds, and will drive out or kill any others.
  • He also is only in charge of gathering objects that could be highly important rather than supplies.
  • The clan did not see a connection between him and Saberlot initially. They simply believed the two to just be wearing what was considered common and proper armor for knights.
  • However, when more in-depth observations were made, the armors were discovered to be almost the exact same, minus small touches in the filigree.
  • This lead to many questions, especially once Berserkerlot's nature as an amalgamate was revealed.
  • When it was finally sought after, Berserkerlot's history was incredibly hard to track down.
  • On top of his normally silent nature, he could not speak normal draconic, and he refused to write in any fashion.
  • So, the clan decided to simply have him show them where he had been 'born' as an amalgamate.
  • After a long trip into the Sunbeam Ruins and many unwanted fights and deaths due to Bsrserkerlot's reactions to Pearlcatchers and Imperials, the clan was greeted by the remains of a mural.
  • While distorted due to his 'birth' from it, those who had joined Berserkerlot were able to realize just exactly what he was.
  • The twisted stories of Saberlot betraying his kingdom filled every inch of the mural, along with his slaughter of many of the residents and his eventual retreat to parts unknown.
  • The story had been given a life of its own in the form of a second Lancelot.
  • The clan has yet to tell Saberlot of the discovery, but they suspect they don't have to based on his behavior after Berserkerlot joined the clan.
