.....TANVIER AND HIS BIRDS may seem unusual to some, and reasonably so, but it is clear that he has a deep passion for these creatures. His love for them goes beyond just owning a few as pets; he has made them the center of his life. It takes a lot of time and effort to provide proper care for animals, and Tanvier's devotion to his feathered friends is very respectable, if not honorable. .....Born in the Highland Scrub, Tanvier was unexpectedly separated from his parents at just five months old. He was discovered by a noble sub-flock of harpies, which took him in and raised him for the remainder of his youth. It was they that gifted him his first pet; a cockatiel. He wasn't with them long, though, as his species (not to mention size) made it very difficult. But he was and is very grateful for them, and since developed a fascination with all things bird. .....After parting with his harpy friends, Tanvier joined the nature flight, feeling that it suit him best. He hopped amongst a couple of clans, in which he temporarily paired up with his first mate, Saevio. He was heartbroken after her exaltation, and it was then that he became completely absorbed in his "work" and moved into Faithful Forests. .....For another century, Tanvier refused to give romance or fatherhood another shot, even though it had once been his happiest position in life. He was devoted to birds and no one else until Klappa cracked him. Now, birds continue to be his biggest obsession, but he is happier with his newly-found lover. |
