______ 200 years. 200 years drifted by so agonizingly slowly. It almost felt like time was forever standing still. Like time stopped, never to restart and move forwards again. Trapped in a purgatory of nothingness.

In reality, this restless soul is eternally bound to an abandoned draconian morgue where others perished, either from fatal illnesses, wounds from battle, or medical malpractices from malicious doctors and nurses. Bahrithluxim was one of those victims, the pain of scalpels and needles puncturing his scales and tearing him apart. Forced to endure the agony of the blades slicing through him, needles draining him of his life, all the while not given the liberty of being put to sleep before his procedures. The pain is still there. Still so white hot and agonizing. He can't escápe҉. ̸̧̕Tḩ̢͟e̷̴͠ ̨p̵̨̔a̵͚̓i̴͔͘n̷̩̍ ̸̭͝w̸͍͌ó̸̦ṇ̷͂'̸̳͗t̸͙̂ ̷̝̀ș̸̔t̶̤̀ó̵͉p̵͇͝.̶̑͜

______ Days passed after his death. Days soon turned to months. Years. Everything was the same. Darkened hallways with damaged-beyond-repair light fixtures, dust, dirt, and rust covering the walls, broken and bent chairs and large hospital beds for all sizes of dragons strewn about in the hallways and doorways, and the nauseating scent of death that never lifted from this abandoned place. Some rooms still had traces of dried blood from 'patients', some medical tools were speckled all along the floors, and the pained moans and groans of other dragons subjected to the same torment as Bahrithluxim echoed eerily throughout the halls. He wasn't alone, but it felt like he was.
