Galen
— "healer, calm" —

Backstory
When Galen finally opened her eyes, she couldn't see much a difference. The clan healer told her parents that she was blind in all four eyes. They chalked it up to the strange voice that had spoken at their hatching, which had her mother point to her and speak her name. Her parents had begun to regret listening to the voice, but what had been done was done.

Galen, despite being blind and labeled helpless, always had a sense of wanderlust. Her sibling, Zulma, did their best to keep Galen in check. Eventually, the smaller Mirror wandered too far from their clan's territory. While trying to shepherd their blind sister back to the lair, a large Imperial with blinding scales came across them. Kindly, she offered to take the two youngsters on an adventure to Arcane territory before bringing them back to her own clan, assuming the two dragons were orphaned.

Zulma tried to explain their situation, but Galen had already climbed onto the Imperial's back. Her nestmate, frightened that they might lose their sister, joined her and the two were taken by the Imperial.

Galen returned to the Vanguard with Evangeline, her sister having stayed behind in the Arcane clan they had visited. The Imperial promised to take Galen with her each time she had to visit them.
