Hatchlings born to The Stricken are trained in warfare and survival skills. Growing up seeing the Gladekeeper and Plaguebringer worshiped side by side means they are surprisingly openminded to new ideas, but tend to be blasé about death and violence which can come across as callous to dragons from other flights.
Oak’s parents were a Druid and a Alchemist, and he dreams of becoming a druid himself when he grows up. He has not enjoyed growing up in a clan with such strong military leanings, he bursts into tears at the thought of killing a living creature. He is a gentle soul who cannot bear cruelty or wrong doing but becomes easily flustered so finds it difficult to confront other dragons.
