Kobra Kid is enigmatic and shy, unlike some Killjoys who just pretend to be both of those. They have been winding through the skies alongside the rest of the Fabulous Four as long as the gang has been together, and plan to stick around, even through the violent windstorms that aim to rip them apart. Contemplative and cunning, Kobra Kid has been called the brains of the operation compared to the bold and brash Party Poison and Jet Star. Kobra has the soul of a Guardian, loyal to the very end, bitingly bitter in their tenacity.

Kobra Kid joined the Killjoys as a mere hatchling, quickly falling in with the gregarious Jet Star and noble Party Poison. They fought the Shade, the Arcane Constructs, busted ghosts, and now they fight the screaming winds that shriek over the wastes at night. Kobra Kid is a bassist, and the echoes of their guitar can be heard even in the worst of the windstorms. Or more accurately, felt. The rumble of the bass shakes the very ground, yet Kobra seems not to notice, always soaring swift against the ravenous windstorms.

The Kytes are Kobra Kid’s gang. They recruited a few high flyers to follow their ways, silent, edgy, deadly, but unyieldingly loyal. The Kytes sell out stadiums on the regular, although they prefer to open for the more powerful Bass Boosters or the Killjoys themselves. High Rise Lights, Downtown Storm, and Methane Skies are Kobra Kid's closest friends outside the Fab Four, and the ones who have heard their voice above a whisper as they sing out a melody for High Rise to follow in the studio.
