Biography

Xemoroir (known as Xem to most of his clanmates) was a shy thing for most of his upbringing, brought up on his own by his mother. When he was old enough to leave his nest he was told to do so, in order to find what he must guard, and eventually met another of his species: Madrigal. The female made it clear her purposes, she sought to claim a land and build a clan set up in respect of the beloved Gladekeeper. Xem was more than welcome to help her but he would have no stake in her territory.

A gangly young adult, nowhere else much to go in life, he agreed, bewildered at how forward this dragon was with stating intentions. He followed her as they searched for the perfect land. All the time he admired Madrigal's ferocity and intelligence. At the back of his mind was always the constant worry of having to find the thing, place or person that he must guard.

The pair founded their clan in the Everbloom Gardens. One by one, dragons from the far reaches of the world began to join, and the clan expanded and moved to the Gladeveins. Madrigal and Xemoroir opened their arms to any dragon who needed a home. The lost and forgotten, the sad and lonely, the misfits and dragons with no where or no one else to turn to, all found a loving home in the nature clan, where they were able to build up confidence and find a place where they were respected.
Xem, with his gentle nature, became something of a father to all the dragons of the clan.

He serves now as Madrigal's (who he affectionately calls Madge) trusted friend, knowing he holds great respect in her eye. He is a defender, having being trained by her to utilise his great size to a better advantage, and serves as her wall and healer when she enters a fray. And finally, after years of working alongside her, he realises she is what he has come to guard over, with all his heart.
