Caju was the other egg scavenged by Pegleg Kelly prior to the arrival of the Navigator Guild. She was hatched shortly after Juca. They were pretty much tied to the other since birth so there was no surprise when they became a couple.

The worked together with Kelly and the Navigator Guild to stablish the clan on the shores of the Sea of a Thousand Currents and it fell on Caju's arm to properly map and settle the clan's border and limits. She since patrols the offskirts of the clan to ensure no business or passerby dragon stops by without paying the proper fares and taxes to the Navigator Guild.

While their arrangement might have been forced at first, Caju really likes Juca, and they're inseparable. He tags along during her job of scouting the perimeter, even though he complains throughout the journey. She is waiting for the day he will pop the big question, but so far, Juca remains the same idiot he has always been.

xxxxxxxCaju rounded a corner, carrying her nearly finished map bundles carefully. And then she saw Juca. The wildclaw tried to walk past him, but he stopped her.

xxxxxxx"Why hello there, dearest Caju!" He said, making an awkward bow. She groaned, trying to adjust her load of maps.

xxxxxxx"What do you want Juca?" She asks, impatient to set them down. Juca smiles grandly, taking a few maps.

xxxxxxx "I want to help you!" He announces, nearly dropping all the bundles. Caju helped him stack the bundles carefully, smiling a little. "Maybe he isn't so bad... he helped me after all!"

xxxxxxxJuca grunted, stumbling to the storeroom. He had to do this. He needed to be romantic. Why was being romantic so hard? With a loud groan, he shoved the bundles on the table, glad to be rid of them. Yup, that would do it. "That surely did it!", he thought.

xxxxxxx"Geez. Maps are annoying. My job here is done." Juca proclaimed, waving as he walked out of the room. Caju's smile quickly turned to a frown.

xxxxxxxCaju sighed, starting to organize the maps. She just didn't know what to think! Maybe Juca was alright though... maybe.

xxxxxxxShe walked to another room and found Juca taking a nap. She groaned, turning around and slamming the door.

xxxxxxxWhat did she expect?
