Biography
Temptura 'The Tide Wanes'
Seer/Soothsayer
Life: We Could Be Gods Temptura is the disgraced matriarch of a long lost clan of sea-dwelling dragons. Her lineage ended furiously in a churning battle within the depth of the lair that she had spent so much time meticulously creating with her subjects. A battle that, if she had listened to her heart instead of her own greed, could have been avoided. Temptura was a gifted seer, strong in natural magic with vivid visions of the future her status was elevated through the clan where, in time and through the help of her various visions, she managed to climb to the status of Clan Matriarch, with her guidance the clan FLOURISHED and became ever larger and stronger. This was not to last however, and the downfall came at the hands of the one they expected the least. Tensions between Temptura’s clan and a neighbouring clan had grown ever tense since Temptura had willingly allowed a Beastclan Ambassador by the name of ‘Tipin’ to enter the clan and live with them for a short time, this simple act of kindness INFURIATED the other lair and caused very tense talks to happen between the two of them, which eventually lead into an agreement that, peace would reign as long as Temptura didn’t allow another ambassador back into the Lair. Temptura however, was greedy and when Tipin offered a gift of riches for the clan if he was allowed back in. Temptura, despite her visions of disaster, clung onto the rare memory of Tipin sneaking in and sneaking out without being seen...She clung to it desperately, her greed overpowering her own intellect as, under the cover of night she allowed the small Tipin to sneak into the Lair. This, however, did not go by unnoticed. A Wildclaw, had been sent to spy on Temptura’s clan in case she broke the arrangement, and as soon as the Wildclaw spy gathered their proof they sprinted back to their employer and told all. The lair attacked that night, and the surprise attack was completely unprecedented. Temptura was awoken by the screams of her clan, the metallic scent of blood in the air, the burst of heat and fire that filled her own whirlpool cave. Temptura stepped out into the fray and, taking one look at the destruction. Fled. She left her clan and took to the skies, but not before taking a direct hit of Coatl fire in her eyes, leaving her blinded and disorientated. Injured and blind, Temptura floated along the waves of the ocean numbly, unable to see anything around her, only able to feel the ebb and flow of the tide as it dragged her forwards and back, until one day the heavy beats of wings above her took her attention. She cowered of course, and weak from the lack of hunger, begged for the random dragon to at least put her out of her misery quickly. The dragon, introducing himself as Leonidias seemed amused by her words and softly told her that he meant no harm and if she wanted any help. Ever the prideful Tundra, she at first refused but, as they floated alongside each other she grew comfortable with him and eventually...Allowed him to carry her to the nearest shore. Their bonds only grew from there, and they soon fell in love soon after. Confiding in each other about their past, what had happened to them, crying on each other's shoulders and eventually, expressing their wishes to make a new lair of their own. A wish that, eventually. Came true. |
