For all her life, Sarahi had been driven by a burning curiosity and a single question - why not? She could have gone down many paths, most of them foolish and all of them morally dubious. Instead of arcane secret or forgotten histories, she invested herself in cybernetics. Neural nets, prosthetics, artificial eggs, implants - you name it, she had her claws in it. The Bogsneak was never one for riches or favors - it was the challenge that enthralled her, the ability to blur the lines between mind and metal.

Word spread of her achievements and of her willingness to push boundaries. It's hard to say which one Project chose her for, but it was for naught. She laughed them off. 'Machines by themselves aren't much fun', she said, 'Where's the life, the challenge of keeping the blood flowing in them?'

Then the accident happened.

Sarahi had never been the most stable of dragons. A freak accident that took her partner-mate, all but one of her child-apprentices, her blueprints, most of her front half and implemented the idea that Project was the one behind it. Despite this, her engineering skills remained - and even improved once she got ahold of her new body. The barely put together Bogsneak and her surviving kin fled from the highest towers of the Shifting Expanse to the stinking edges of the Scarred Wasteland, hiding themselves within the criminal underbelly. The pirate town of the Sinew City was a perfect place to set up and hunker down. Her already morally dubious heart solidified into something matching the landscape - putrid teeth and claws, infested with the need for revenge and refusing to die until it is done.

Cyto wants nothing to do with their mother's quest for revenge or robotics in general.
