Biography

"My lord," she called, her glassy, unseeing eyes focused on a peculiarly stationary snowflake as others swirled around her.

A single inclination of his head was all it took for her to continue.

"I see a two-legged warrior, standing in a field of lilac-colored flowers. His obsidian cape billows in the ash-filled air as he stares at a city on fire. Distant screams fill his ears, and though he grips the sword at his side, he does not move. He is a shadowed silhouette in the face of the blaze."

He was silent for a moment as they walked along, on their way home from the auctions with a satchel of goods strapped to each of them. The glassy quality of her eyes seemed to melt away as she walked, silent too as she waited for him. The snowflake resumed its dance with its companions.

"Whose fault was it?"

"I do not know, my lord. He seems concerned, but his lack of action tells against it."

"Hm."
