Koja

Koja always hated the cold. Which was ironic, considering his element and first home. As soon as he was old enough to fly, he attempted to escape his so called home. His father, Atlas, tried to chain him down and force him into the family business, and he succeeded for a long time, until one day when Koja found a dragon about his age, abandoned near their home. She had been injured so that she couldn't fly. Someone was obviously counting on her death, but not on rescue.

The two of them were inseparable for a while. Koja used what little knowledge he had on healing to help Akisaja fly again, and in return, she gave him hope.

Atlas found out about Akisaja not long after Koja began to distance himself from his work.
Threatening to kill Akisaja and force Koja back into the family's dishonest business, Atlas was done reasoning with his son. After a narrow escape, Koja knew he would be hunted down by his family. Together, he and Akisaja flew as far as they could, eventually finding themselves in the fire territory. There, they were safe at last, and Koja could discover his true passion of metalworking.
