One...well, sort of crashed into the Clan. He was a completely unexpected newcomer; originally from an allied Clan, One was invited to stay in the Grove by Hestia after she became leader. Initially it was cause for rumor why this was...until Hestia produced her first clutch of eggs. It was certainly surprising; no one knew Hestia had a crush, but most nodded their heads and accepted it.

One is a handsome and burly ridgeback, though like many of his species, not the most forward in the brains department. He's by no means an airhead, but he has some...quirks about him that others find odd. He's a borrower, like all ridgebacks, but his most common target is Hestia, and she is famously okay with all his 'borrowings', and if she needs her things returned she simply borrows back. This seems to delight One.

As far as formal occupation goes, One is the official burrower for the Clan, in charge of expanding the lair into the hillside when necessary. He enjoys tunneling, like most ridgebacks, to an almost ridiculous extent. On Hestia's request, whenever he gets the digging urge but has no dens to make, he'll fly off and dig a hole in the wilderness. He's started quite his own nice lair out there, but he always returns to the Clan's den and his mate.

One has an insatiable curiosity...even for things he's afraid of. Think of the beatboxing cat and you'll have One in a nutshell. Despite ridgeback aversion to water, he loves the beach, and will poke at the tide before hastily retreating. It's quite a funny sight, for anyone who accompanies him. His digging hole is on the shore, as he loves sand and sandstone. He loves the sound of waves and flies over the shoreline often, even though the water spooks him.
