Hale was the first male heir of the Platinum line, and brought to this role a definite strictness that the previous Matriarchs lacked. He ruled with a firm fist, creating many laws to hold his citizens to a higher standard. The citizens didn't like this very much, as this rule was a much harder one to live under than the others in their lives, but the hatchlings were brought up in better conditions and had more intensive schooling in their younger years. His reign was twice the length of the previous ones and he had one litter of hatchlings before he had an heir. In the first litter was Omni Moon who went on to become the high priestess of a cult that Hale very much did not approve of. Ana was born to his second litter and become his heir, taking over the mantel of Matriarch, allowing him to still watch a protect eye over her and her reign.

His familiar, the Wintermane Bowman was his grandfather's and was given to him as a gift on his coronation by his mother. The familiar is very loyal to him and helped him reinforce his rule with shows of strength. In his retirement, they go hunting together, for sport and to find trophies.
