B I O G R A P H Y
A cryptid of sorts, many speculate the creature was once a hatchling who lost its life. No one knew its name so they took to calling it Banshee after the creature due to its white coloring and long silky hair and the way it sobs. Some think it cries out for its mother, others believe the tears are just a ruse to lure victims to their death...
If you see a small skydancer, pale and frail, in the woods at night you may be inclined to approach. It cries out to you, sorrow in its tone. Do not go near the tiny creature. It's hungry. When Banshee was alive he was loved very much. His name was Wallace and he spent each day like it was his last. If only he knew how true that statement was. Wallace didn't understand he was born fragile, the runt of the hatch. Bones built thin and frail, so when he took a tumble down the edge of a narrow cliff he didn't stand a chance. He was left in the cold snow, it bleaching his skin a pale white as he faded off into oblivion, though in the darkness something called to him. When he awoke little Wallace was not alive nor dead. Over time his fond memories of family faded until he became a sorrowful spirit of the boy who once was. Smiles were replaced with tears, then tears with sobbing, eventually sobbing became screaming. He became so angry over his lost memories until the little child was all but gone. A horrible monster lied in his place. Eventually, Wallace became a hollow shell, taking up the name Banshee as he started to lure female dragons in with his sobbing, only to get angry and lash out when he realized these dragons were not his mother. Maybe one day he will find her, maybe he's just waiting for her to pass on as well so he may finally be free. But until then Banshee waits, seeking blood to calm his restless soul. |
