Born to two shade-touched parents, one of whom is the daughter of a clan leader, Kerygma and Sermon were strange children- instead of playing the games typical of hatchlings, they stayed mainly in the Sunless' extensive library, shying from the scant light that even the Orchard of Thorns' perpetual dusk would experience. Far younger than almost all of the clan, they took solace in eachother and their goddess.
Kerygma, despite her previous isolation, quickly befriends most dragons she meets due to her exuberant nature. While her charge is unknown, she seems very protective of shade-touched dragons, and if someone insults the Shade she is liable to "break character" around them, as it were, growing cold and distant.
