Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this nature loving dragon wandered a little too far from her home lair (217154, Shikokudarkstar), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return him/her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, HERE. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!
Lore:
Pollen had been rescued by the arcane clan run under the guardian dragon Markuv. Her old clan for reasons of their own had decided to send her away to the auction house for a low price. She was an older lady and at two years of age, still very beautiful. The problem was however, she didn't have a mate. Oh, they tired to find her someone she could like but nothing seemed to fit. So she decided to go out and roam the lands in search of that perfect mate. Upon her announcement to travel, Zealaye gave her a pretty bow to travel with, wishing her well.
[DuchessDragoness]
After many days of weary travel, Pollen was unexpectedly attacked by a Heartred Croaker. Well, "attacked" was a strong word, it was more like pestered. It only stopped at the command of a red-cloaked Tundra. She sniffed the air a few times, then stated that Pollen didn't smell dangerous. The croaker responded by going to perch on its master’s wing.
A pregnant pause followed, shifting the atmosphere to uneasy tension. Pollen finally broke it by asking what her odd, new companion’s name was.
After a moment, the Tundra replied, “They call me the Red Knight,” then added, “Are you a traveler?” The Coatl explained herself, and after another lull in the conversation, the other finally offered for her to stay at their nesting grounds.
The clan, that turned out to have no real name, surrounded what the residents referred to as the "Spiral Temple", which was built upon sacred ground that the Tidelord himself had blessed. She never managed to visit it, but there were many rumors about the Guardian that stoically defended its borders, and the mysterious oracle that lived inside, and upkept it.
When the day came for Pollen to finally leave, she was seen off by the Red Knight and Ann, her familiar’s nickname, as she was told.
The Red Knight stepped forward and buried her nose into the traveler's neck fur. Pollen flushed but remained still. The Tundra inhaled deeply a few times, and then backed away again. She gave a gentle smile and finally said, "I will remember that you are a friend. If you return I will greet you warmly."
[Owleics]
Having been travelling for many days, Pollen soon needed to rest so took respite in the Everbloom Gardens within the Viridian Labyrinth where she met another wildclaw. She had kind green eyes and was covered in similarly green apparel seeming perfectly at home in this verdant environment. Cucumber, she said her name was, belonged to a clan nearby going by the name clan Ancient and had just returned from a scouting mission. With a cheery ruffle of her pale green feathers, Cucumber welcomed her a spot at their lair to rest up. Thankful, Pollen accepted and soon found herself being dragged though the dense forest by the exuberant Coatl.
The clan was hectic to say the least. Led by a large Imperial, pollen felt almost intimidated and definitely out of her depth. Until she met Eris that is. Born not a month after her, she and Eris had a lot in common and a lot to talk about. For a few weeks she stayed and her friendship with Eris grew stronger. Until it reached the day Pollen felt she must leave. As a parting gift, Eris gave her another bow and a promise to stay in touch.

After many days of travel Pollen ended up in the dark shadow realms. She decided to make camp where the glowing mushrooms were the most prevalent creating the best source of light. A smallish clan had invited her in, and they were kind enough to provide her with food. and told her many stories, as most of the dragons were from around the world themselves. During her stay though she had a one night stand with the matriarchs own personal mate Dapper. They produced two eggs. The matriarch dappest had suspicions and threatened the pair with exalting when the other progen Dap stood up, and claimed that another dragon passing through had nested with her. Saving the pair, Dap ushered the pair of them out. chastised Dapper who had cheated. Dapper rolled his eyes walked up to pollen took another ribbon, and wrapped it around her wrist to remember him by. Then she was sent on.
[Kelnarlie]
A long time passes before Pollen stumbled upon a plague lair. Hoping that perhaps, her luck has finally turned. "No." Was the simple answer given by the matriarch. "Our den is full, and you will have to look elsewhere." The scarred Mirror took a step forward. "Besides, your type-" She eyed Pollen up and down. "Doesn't belong here, we are a lair of warriors. Not some Sunday tea party for you to parade around." And with that, she was forced out of the cave. Luckily, the pearlcatchers who acted as chefs of the clan felt bad for Pollen, and sneaked her some food before waving her goodbye.
