Caring, Motherly, Smart
I bloomed from the planet Saturn, my parents were proud of how their daughters and sons came out. The planet was fun to live on, other dragons with stars lived along side me, we were unstoppable.. or, at least I thought. We were at war with the Seritopian Army, and they had came up with a weapon non of us could have expected. Large beast with spider-like limbs, no eyes, but huge mouths were unleashed on my planet, killing dozens of dragons in minutes. We had to flee quick, my sisters and some brothers had already perished in the fight, so my parents did everything to get me out of that planet. They didn't care where, but when I got into that pod and was hurtling to a planet of ice, I was terrified. |

CRASH LANDING I remember the landing, digging into the surface of the hard planet hurt, and once it stopped, I couldn't think. I froze... It was 2 days before I woke up again, I noticed my pod was under a thick layer of soft solid liquid, so I had to leave quick. I opened the door, and as the material covered me and everything inside the pod, I can finally see the outside. It was cold, not as cold as home, but still cold. I flew out of the ship, landing on ice. There was nothing here, no dragons, no animals, no plants, no life. I can't tell if I just landed in a deserted place or if I have been sent to a empty planet. I had stayed sleeping in the pod for a while, too scared to leave. It wasn't too long, though, till it had completely filled up with snow. Knowing I had to leave, I started off, remembering each foot step just in case I needed to return. I know why they sent me here, there was a corpse of a dragon that had been trapped under ice, and could possibly explain what had happened to the main trading center in the universe, and how everyone here had perished. I was confused, the pictures they showed me were full of lively dragons, trading their goods and making business. This was here. Why was it covered in snow, and how long ago was this taken? Enough questions. I started digging, hoping to find something that would be resourceful. In the white snowy distance I noticed a black figure, he was digging as well, and I don't think he noticed I was here. I was scared, I couldn't see it too well. What if it was one of those beast that could have been sent after me? I noticed he stopped moving, and was facing me. I saw two glowing orbs, and I was sure that wasn't a dragon. In a act of terror, looked away and fled. The next day I had gone out early, hoping to find what I was sent here to look at. I was digging around when I found a horn peeking out of the snow. I was excited, and started digging more. As I uncovered it, I started getting really scared. It was huge, and seemed to have 4 eyes at one point. I was terrified, staring into what was once their eyes, but is now just empty holes in their head. I heard a noise behind me, and I turned around quick, still scared. It was a black dragon, similar to the one I saw yesterday. I calmed down, knowing it most likely wasn't a threat. I gathered my courage, and though I tried to sound bold, it came out in a weak mumble. "I'm Naoz...I..." I got distracted, and looked back at the skull, staring at it. It was so memorizing, why? I looked up at him, hoping he was staring to. He was, but glanced at me. "Naoz... I'm Hesperus...Nice meeting you." His voice echoed over the empty land, and all I did was nod. |
