Charybdis was found in the middle of a waterspout when he was a hatchling. A homosexual couple found him and decided to adopt him. They named him Charybdis, the name of a goddess of whirlpools, and they gave him a feminine name because it symbolized similarity between male and female, to support homosexuality.
