The mercenary of Plague

Born to fathers who have led lives dedicated to Plague traditions of survival and, these younglings had weapons put into their claws as soon as they were old enough to hold them. Hircine and Verraka are brutal opponents on the battlefield, and their reputations as mercenaries serving under Prince Vo'rasha precede them in many instances. As far as they concerned, their children are destined for glory.

Having inherited Hircine's severe strand of Gembond, this child learned from a young age to push through pain and pursue their goals regardless. Shehki's gems grow at an alarming rate, and before she had even reached adolescence, ninety percent of her left arm had been claimed by the disease. While it resulted in her mobility in that arm being hindered, breaking the gems helped temporarily, and overall, the covering provided a natural protective cover. Her right leg is in danger of being completely covered someday, along with a good portion of her abdomen.

Despite her ailment, Shehki took her future into her own claws and followed in her fathers' footsteps with her head held high. She was eager to learn to fight, and she grew into a formidable opponent on the battlefield. She specializes in axes and maces, and her enlarged fangs--another trait she inherited from Hircine--give her an extra edge should one get too close within her range.

When she was old enough, she set off on her own, seeking thrills through combat and a way to line her pockets with coin. In a way, she seemed destined to become a mercenary, and she strode down that path with a grin on her face and fire in her eyes.
