Adara

Adara was abandoned as a hatchling during a raid upon her clan and was scooped up by a saddened Nocturne, who had just lost her own clutch. Fortunately for Adara, this nocturne belonged to a clan of specially trained assassins. There, Adara grew up as a much larger member of the clan, who loved her family more than words can describe. The only downside to this arrangement was that poor Adara picked up Nocturnes one truly annoying habit, mimicry. It worked wonders for her as an assassin, but not so much when trying to make pleasantries.

When Caligulas' clan made their way through the nocturne's home, they sent Adara to kill the leader of the clan, fearing hostility was afoot. Yet when Adara went to infiltrate, she found that the clan was filled with eclectic goofballs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Caligulas took not only to the clan as a leader, but as a mother to each and every one. Adara admired this quality of Caligulas and found herself unable to kill her.

She ran away back to her tribe and reported that they were harmless and should be allowed to pass through without any trouble. As Caligulas and the clan awake they found that what they thought was a new member of the clan had vanished. Caligulas moved the clan through the wastelands and searched for Adara every chance she could, but was worried she had been hurt. After Caligulas had set the clan up at the camp, she and Lucian ran back into the wastelands searching for days when Lucian finally caught the scent of her. They traveled fr to find the hiding spot of Adara's clan, and when they arrived, everyone was upset.

Adara had missed Caligulas so much that they both embraced as soon as they saw each other. They hated being apart as each of them fancied the other and Caligulas asked the clan if she could bring Adara with her. Pleased, Adara quickly accepted and happily took the second command in the clan. There she learned the way of being a diplomat and became the new second mother to baby Lucian. Later she also mothered her two other adopted daughters, Scathatch and Vervada.
